Hanako Ozawa Ellis, Clarinet

Hanako began studying piano at age 3, and clarinet at age 14. Graduated Doshisha Women's University with a degree in clarinet performance. Received Ishimura Masako Award and performed at the 2003 Kansai Shinjin Concert. Winter of 2005-2006, lived in Boston and became interested in Jazz☆. Accepted to perform in Young Musician's Concert at Karuizawa International Music Festival 2006. Studied clarinet under the direction of Yoshiki Terazawa, Masatomi Kaigawa, and Nobuyuki Kanai. Currently active in the Tokyo area performing chamber music, orchestral and jazz music.
